Second training workshop

Within the framework of the "Promoting Moderate Religious Dialogue in Nineveh" project, and with support from the IOM's Wasl Fund, the second training workshop on "Countering Violent Extremism" was launched. The workshop saw the participation of representatives from the Committee for the Prevention of Violent Extremism, the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, the Department for Countering Intellectual Terrorism, and representatives from the Directorate of Religious Endowments, in addition to religious figures from various faiths and ethnicities. Participants discussed effective strategies for promoting dialogue, understanding, and peacebuilding, emphasizing the importance of moderate religious discourse in fostering social stability and preventing violent extremism.
