Within the (Project to Promote Moderate Religious Dialogue in Nineveh)
With support from the IOM’s Wasl Fund, the first training workshop on (Combating Violent Extremism) was launched. The workshop witnessed the participation of representatives from the Committee for the Prevention of Violent Extremism, the Governor of Mosul, the National Security Directorates (Department for Combating Violent Extremism), the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, the Department for Combating Intellectual Terrorism, representatives from the Directorate of Endowments, in addition to religious figures from various religions.

The participants discussed effective strategies to promote dialogue, understanding and peacebuilding, while emphasizing the importance of moderate religious discourse in establishing the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the various segments of society.
